Lacey

Best Friends: Thetis and Valyah
What's Interesting: She has Northern Dancer in her pedigree - a famous race horse. She raced herself, and she has had one baby.
What she likes:Treats! She is a simple girl and likes her food.
Talents: Extended trot - this girl has an incredible extended trot and lovely movement.

Lacey came to Lindsey for a month of training in spring of 2011. She had been loved by some client's of LFEquestrian for many years and they had done a lot of positive work with her. Lacey was an advanced horse because sometimes she would be spooky or display dominant behaviour not wanting to go forward or work.

She came to Lindsey for training to help turn her attitude around to want to work and connect with people. She progressed really well in her month of training - she went from completely ignoring us to actually following us around the ring. She did some under saddle work too.

Lacey's owners loved the way that Lindsey and the staff of LFEquestrian had worked with Lacey using natural horsemanship that they decided they wanted Lacey to be owned by LFEquestrian. Lindsey was happy take on such a pretty girl because of her potential as a broodmare and other talents. Lindsey plans to breed Lacey this year because of movement, conformation, and since she has already been a mom successfully before.

Lacey plays with us in ground games, but because she will be bred in 2011 the focus is not on riding.
