The Cost of Training Services: Per horse: Private: $30/ session* Training Package: 10 sessions with your horse when paid in advance: $250/ package* Monthly Training Package: Includes a minimum of 3 sessions/week for four weeks to reach the desired goal. When paid in advance: $350/ month Showing Your Horse: Only available to horses that have completed a minimum of three sessions with Lindsey. Owner pays the costs of trailering, show entries, stall fees, office fees, and any other cost related to the show. Cost: $40/show and the owner keeps all prizes won. *Please note that these prices apply to riding locations within 30minutes driving time from Oshawa. Places 31-60 minutes from Oshawa are subject to an additional $10.00/session. |

Natural Horsemanship Training |

Lindsey trains horses using natural horsemanship which means the horse/human relationship has trust, respect, and leadership. This allows you to have a more confident horse so you can trail ride safely or compete more effectively. Natural Horsemanship focuses on leadership, respect, and communication which will allow you to enjoy your horse in a much safer way. · Natural Horsemanship has a focus on ‘causing’ and ‘allowing’ your horse to do things rather than ‘making’ or simply just ‘letting’ them. · Natural Horsemanship keeps the curiosity in the horse, so they will offer to do more for you because they are not afraid of exploring, and more importantly they want to work for you. · Natural Horsemanship will ensure that your horse is not only physically doing what you want, but mentally and emotionally they accept you and your tasks. For example: physically you may be able to get a horse in a trailer, but Lindsey can show you how you can get your horse mentally and emotionally in the trailer so they will stay in the trailer, stand quietly, and next time offer to walk on the trailer. · Lindsey will travel to your barn to train your horse, or you can move your horse to a barn in the Uxbridge/Oshawa area |
