What's Interesting: She is a Blue Roan - a fairly rare colour. She looks grey, but she is actually a blue roan, which means she doesn't fade to white the same way a grey does.
What she likes: Horse cookies and jumps - if she knows you have a horse cookie, she's been known to randomly jump fences in the hopes you will reward her with a cookie.
Talents: Jumping, she can soar over 4ft oxers like they are nothing... she has even been known to jump over gates if she doesn't like the paddock you put her in!
What Lindsey Says: “Missy is an extraordinary horse. She is a stunning mover and jumper with such a natural ability. She is so sensitive to cues that it can look like magic when you play with her. She is the type of horse that will try her heart out for you, and she really respects people. She can be very shy and skittish when she doesn’t know you, but I think that is precious because it means when you make a commitment to her she will commit to you – but you have to earn it. She is one of the most rewarding horses to work with.”
Information: In the fall of 2009 Missy came to Lindsey on consignment for sale. Right away Lindsey knew this was a special horse. She is very talented and her sensitivity means that when you play with her you can really connect and become ‘like one.’ You can give such subtle cues and she picks up on them so easily.

Missy is the type of horse that lacks confidence. She needs to trust you - and once she does she will try her heart out for you. She is very smart and picks up games and cues easily. She is a very fun horse to work with once you have confidence and experience yourself - you really get to test out your skills when you play with her and you can let your imagination go wild because Missy will try really hard for you.

She is the horse that if you put in the time and build a connection with her, then together you can move mountains.... but people she doesn't know or trust she will run away from.

Lindsey plans on breeding Missy in the spring because of her stunning movement, abilities, conformation, and willing attitude. Look for cute and talented foals in the future!
