Talents: He is really good for riders learning walk/trot, and he is great on the trails.
What Lindsey Says: “Mountain Man is a special horse to me – he was one of the horses that I spent many hours training at Pleasure Valley. I have been amazed how well he enjoys his new job with me –he has turned out to be such a steady and reliable horse for beginner adults and kids. He was fantastic for summer camp in 2011, and he is one of James’s favourites for the trails. I enjoy using Mountain Man in lessons because I know he will be respectful and patient.”
Information: Mountain Man came from the states when he was a yearling. He crossed the border and went to his new home at Pleasure Valley. He spent many years being used on the trails.

Lindsey purchased him along with some other horses from Pleasure Valley in April of 2011. Mountain Man is a talented horse that is smooth and very polite. Many people love working with him because he is so relaxed and respectful. He rides both English and Western and he has also learned to jump in 2011!

Mountain Man is an interesting horse to ride because he can easily trot or gait. If you are learning how to gait, he is a great teacher because he listens so well to both cues and can easily switch from trot to gait.
