Natural Horsemanship Training Lead Rope

This 5/8" yacht rope is made of a strong synthetic braid that handles all types of weather and will not mold. This durable rope is 12 feet in length which allows you to work with the horse from a safe distance that is outside of the horse's personal space.

Arm Extention Stick and String

Also called a Carrot Stick, Handy Stick, or Training Arm, this arm extension stick is made of a lightweight and sturdy material that is very useful when working with your horse. The sturdy material allows you to use the extension stick to direct your horse (which you normally could not do with a lunge whip or dressage whip) and the string provides added reach. Many natural horseman advocate for the use of an arm extension stick with the training string such as Pat Parelli, Clinton Anderson, and Julie Goodnight.

Rope Halters

Navy with white rope halters that have a ‘LFE’ leather tag. These halters are excellent for training and ground work. They come in basic or extra knots. The basic halter has no extra knots. The extra knots rope halter has two extra knots across the nose which is handy for advanced skills or for working with a horse that can be pushy, distracted, or that may take a little extra pressure to get his attention. The halters come in Small (for ponies/ weanlings), Medium (for smaller TB and most QH types), Large (for most warmblood and TB types), and XLarge (for drafts and large warmblood types).

Rope Reins

Black 5/8” rope reins with leather ‘LFE’ stamped slobber straps. Having rope reins while riding allows for more feel when riding with the horse. The slobber straps let the horse feel you lift the rein before you make contact with their mouth which can give you a more responsive and lighter horse in the mouth. The reins have easy attachment to the reins with convenient clips. These reins are for western, English, jumping, or just pleasure riding! They can be used with any bit or bridle.

Quarter Sheets

There are two types of quarter sheet, the exercise sheet which can go under your saddle and has girth holders to hold the blanket in place (or you can just toss it over your horse and sit on the blanket), or there is the keyhole sheet which goes over your horse’s hind end and Velcro fastens around you, which keeps both the horse and your legs warm!
